Ethos

Sustainable yarn.jpg

These are some of the ways I try to make a difference;

  • sourcing my supplies responsibly and from the UK only, to limit the ecological impact on our environment

  • using "pre-loved" (but never used) high quality mohair yarn, which make my pieces more unique, as the colours might never be the same

  • using reusable & recyclable packaging  (trying to be 100% sustainable)

  • promoting a 'slow fashion' lifestyle and sustainable retailing

  • promoting community and friendship with my customers rather than simply focusing on sales

  • sharing the enjoyment and relaxation of knitting

  • developing inclusivity and representation in the small business arena

These are some of the ways YOU might try to make a difference;

  • sourcing your supplies responsibly and from the UK only, to limit the ecological impact on our environment

  • choose one item that you will cherish forever, not as the only one season item: look out for timeless pieces, not only short termed trends

  • think of it as an investment in yourself: does it go with your other things? will you take good care of it? if it does break, will you fix it?

  • when buying new, luxury piece of garment, you should be able to give up one thing in order to add a new one: try to think about donating, gifting or selling the other one
